Went rather well. Seems much more concerned and proactive than previous gastro. Tests are being re-run for up-to-date results, and he wants to talk to Em about results on Monday.
!
At the old place, you could never speak to the doctor's directly on the phone. You had to call, leave a message and wait half a day for a nurse to call you back to set up a follow up appointment with the nurse practitioner who reviewed your file as she walked in the door.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Don't forget that Wednesday is the posting day for Wake Up Writing Monster!.
Saturday is posting day for Voice Thingy.
Mine will be lame. Me, reading from the computer screen. Possibly without glasses. Most likely wearing a beard.
BONUS
In a hair shy of two weeks, The Mark Terry will stop by my corner of the internets on his blog tour. Hooray for visitors!

I'm sorry I missed this news in my absence, but please rest assured of my prayers for Em and your whole family.
That's at the very least good news that you are now being treated by a more responsive, proactive doctor. I can't imagine anything more frustrating that having what feels like a very serious health issue be met with nothing but impersonal communication and half-hearted interest.
I will continue to keep Em, and your whole family, in my thoughts and prayers.
It's Monday. I hope the results have been good.
My draft has been written, and although it's utter trash, it amuses me. So I will be posting 950 words, give or take, on Wednesday. I may read this, or something shorter for the Voice Thingy. 950 words takes a long time to read, so we'll see.
